What does a filtered water tap cost in Dubai?

A complete WELLQ system starts at 12,605 AED incl. VAT — designer tap, filtration system and independent lab certificate included. Calculated over five years, that's from 6.91 AED a day. Installation by certified technicians is available at a surcharge; the annual service package (995 AED/year) extends your warranty up to 5 years.

Is WELLQ an alternative to Quooker in the UAE?

Does boiling water replace filtration?

No. Boiling kills microorganisms but doesn't remove chlorine, microplastics, PFAS or heavy metals. WELLQ filters your water first — then boils, chills or carbonates it on demand.

Do you remove minerals like reverse osmosis does?

No. WELLQ uses activated carbon filtration, which removes chlorine, sediments and impurities while preserving healthy minerals like calcium and magnesium.

How does the free lab test work?

After your installation, an independent, EIAC-accredited laboratory (Wimpey Laboratories) takes a sample from your tap and tests it against GSO 149/2021. You receive the official certificate — WELLQ covers the cost.
